Arthur H. Bryant Receives Justice
Michael A. Musmanno Award in Philadelphia

Arthur H. Bryant |
Twenty-six years ago, the
Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association (PTLA) established the
Justice Michael A. Musmanno Award and began a tradition of
awarding it annually to an outstanding individual who represents
the spirit and ideals of the late Justice Musmanno. As a lawyer,
speaker, statesman and legislator, Justice Musmanno never stood
aside complacently when he believed that cruelty and injustice
were being inflicted.
The PTLA has announced that the
26th Musmanno Award recipient is Arthur H. Bryant, Executive
Director of Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, who is being
honored because he is "an attorney who has always demonstrated
the courage and intellect demonstrated by Justice Musmanno
throughout his legal career." Mr. Bryant received the award
at a dinner on Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at the Westin
Philadelphia at Liberty Place.
